Maureen started singing rely young while growing up going to church and singing on the church choir, 
which turned out to be one of the best voices on the Jamaican scenes in doing what she does best.
She then got the opportunity to travel to England in 2000 there she continued to spread the gospel.

Maureen, now she has put a group together with Peter walker, 
who always been encouraging her the two together formed a band in September 2017 called "The Inspirational Band"
where they launched there first gospel CD Album in the UK called "I've Been Searching".

In 2018 Satchwell linked up with the producer Morris Porter where they decided to do a single title "I Can Make It".
