King was born in St Thomas and grew up with his brothers playing keybord for a while when he got inspired to become a singer and dj in the reggae field this went good for him especially he was offered a contract to perform in mexico.

 He performed mostly with the Black Star Band.

King Marathon became one of the most successful and popular Jamaican reggae artist in Mexico and traveled the four corners doing his thing, after a while King then joined with the Black Star Band but still had the opportunity to get beats/riddims form MouriceProduction who was also a part of Black Star back in the day until he moved to another city.

Marathon and Mourice came up with a song 3 am one morning and recorded it, after the recording they called the song wierd AdS song and laughed, this song became a single and a track on the album Motivation vol 1 produced by MouriceProduction and recorded in B4Muzik Recording studio.  Music is to be inspired.
