Album "Hold On" by Marie Macdonald
The Saga of this Album…..
It was by chance on December 26, 2018, that Marie was in Bucerias, Mexico, and heard Reggae music coming from a local establishment. She decided to take a seat and listen to the music and, in turn, met the lead guitarist who has become her friend and Producer, Morris Porter of MouriceProduction.
Morris encouraged Marie to get back into writing and recording, as it had been several years since Marie had written and recorded an album of her own.
While on vacation in Mexico, Marie began recording. Originally, it was “just for fun”, but eventually the desire to record a second full album was birthed.
In December 2020, Morris and decided to get together in Phoenix Arizona to record the last song called "My Friend". This turned out well to complete the album of hard work.
Throughout their friendship and during the outbreak of Covid-19 across the globe, Marie and Morris have encouraged each other to hang in there, remain positive, and ‘Hold On’ during challenging times. These words became the title of an encouraging and beautiful song, and the name of this Album. Hold On!
