UPCOMING music producer Charlie Pro recently made his biggest career move to date, with the release of his mixtape, Street Step.

 

The 39-track compilation was released March 1 and features tracks like Jah Never Fail and Always on My Mind by roots singer Bushman.

 

Other acts on Street Step include the emerging Nagas, Hotfrass and Dhax.

 

"Not only do I hope it set the pace for me as a producer but I want it to highlight especially the younger acts on the project as they are very talented," said 20-year-old Charlie Pro, who hails from St Thomas.

 

Initially, Charlie Pro (real name Stevol Hibbert) wanted to be a singjay.

 

"I wanted to take on the more vocal side of the music when I was younger but I had a slight change of heart and started to try my hand at producing," he said.
